Well the good news is that I survived one of the busiest weekends I’ve had in awhile. Starting last Thursday, I did some baking, make potato salad for my friends rehearsal dinner, attended said rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and packed all my supplies needed for the wedding the next day. Friday, was a co-maid of honor in my friends wedding with Jodi, Saturday finished cupcakes for my 10 year class reunion (yeah I’m THAT old), attended said reunion and had a great time with Jodi and other friends I haven’t seen in many years. On Sunday I got together with my family for a BBQ to welcome home my cousin from the Army…unfortunally its short lived…he flies out the end of this week and I won’t see him until December…but needless after it all…the best part is that…I survived.
Even with all the craziness I managed to have a pinterst fail. I knew it was bound to happen because I was way over due for one. I followed the recipe just as described…and Im not sure if it was the fact that I left it for a tad longer than needed in the crock pot…or that its just not a great recipe. I give Dan credit…when I served it to him…he smiled and said it just needed some BBQ sauce. I took one taste and told him how sweet he was to give me a huge white lie about how ok the recipe was.
